Turkey

Captivating, paradoxical, Turkey.

Historic architecture, awe inspiring rock formations, crystal blue waters, a vibrant art / culture / design scene. It’s tough not to love Turkey. But it’s the uneasy juxtaposition of modernity and conservatism, and the friendships forged with those born and raised here that, for me, make this country both fascinating and unforgettable.

Photographed in Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Büyükada.
