The wonderful Nikki Farren Garcia shines as bright as the sun! As the Manager of Nellie Gail Equestrian Center based in Laguna Woods, California, Nikki not only makes sure that this beautiful home for horses, elite trainers, and competitive / leisure riders runs like clockwork, but she also brings her deep knowledge and love of horses to every interaction with the community there. As an experienced rider who has competed internationally in show jumping throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, she also radiates the strength and confidence of a woman who is as comfortable astride a horse as she is with her two feet planted firmly on the ground.

This magical session was designed to create the kind of large scale, heirloom quality, handmade wall art that makes visitors to one’s home swoon. Master Retouching by my team of artists was crafted to echo pre-Raphaelite, painted portraiture of the late 1800’s. The result is timeless and enchanting.

Pictured along with Nikki is the fairy tale beauty, Margriet, a Friesian mare, owned by the lovely Angie W. And if you scroll down just a bit, you’ll also spy Nikki in the stables with another superstar at Nellie Gail, the gorgeous Caddie, owned by Shannon M.

We couldn’t have closed out our special shoot without including Nikki’s husband and soulmate, Gunnery Sergeant Edwin Garcia, who recently earned a Navy and Marine Corps Medal for Heroism after rescuing a drowning child in Africa. What a loving and dynamic pair these two are.
