Chou Wen-Chung | Composer and Educator

a series of images for use on the renowned composer’s website and publicity materials

With momentous events on the horizon, Concentric Studio, in collaboration with The Spiralis Music Trust, commissioned Kimberly to create a series of portraits and brand storytelling images of the renowned composer, educator and cultural ambassador Chou Wen-Chung.

Photographed at Chou’s home music studio in an historic New York City brownstone, the shoot yielded images with a warm and intimate feel that ultimately served as the visual language for Chou’s new website. Concurrent with the website’s launch was the opening of the Chou Wen-chung Music Research Center at Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China. Images from the shoot were also employed for the Center’s programs, press, banners, and a documentary film.

Chou’s website located at www.chouwenchung.org was named a notable ‘webpick’ website by Communications Arts Magazine
